Method of Removing the Identification Code on the Eggshell
The eggshells of boxed eggs in supermarkets are mostly marked with a striking red code. After the eggs purchased in the supermarket are cooked, there are also red marks on the egg whites. Will such eggs have any impact on health? Today Lijun Machinery Factory teaches you the way to remove the identification code from the eggshell.
Food grade inkjet inks are used on the eggshells, all with inspection reports. There are pores in the eggshell and the inner membrane of the egg. It is normal for the marking code ink of the eggshell to penetrate into it, but this marking code uses food-grade ink, so it will not affect our consumption.
Most of the imprints on the cooked egg whites are infiltrated during the cooking process. Let’s talk about the method of removing the identification code on the eggshell.
Method one to remove the identification code on the eggshell: use alcohol
Soak several cotton swabs in a bottle of 75% ethanol disinfectant, and then wipe the code on the eggshell. After wiping for 5 minutes, the color of the code is lighter and the cotton swab is also stained with a little red. After wiping for a few minutes, the color of the code did not continue to lighten, the cotton swab did not change color, and the code on the egg could still identify the specific number.
Method two to remove the identification code on the eggshell: use boiling water
Rinse the egg coding area with boiling water, and the color does not change. Dip a cotton swab into hot water and wipe the code on the eggshell. After 5 minutes of wiping, the color of the code is wiped off, and the cotton swab is almost dyed red. After wiping for a few minutes, almost all the color of the code was wiped off, but it was obvious that a small amount of red remained in the cracks and holes of the eggshell, and the code number on the egg was unrecognizable.
Method three to remove the identification code on the eggshell: use vinegar
A cotton swab was dipped in vinegar and wiped the code on the eggshell. In less than 1 minute, the code was mostly wiped off. After wiping for 2 minutes, the codes were wiped off, and the eggshells were clean, and only residual vinegar was visible. After washing the eggs with water, there is no trace of coding on them.
